Holy hell. Today is a day to mark down in history. I ACTUALLY ENJOYED LUNCH. In the DORM! That's new for me. They served sausage calzones which are my favorite main dish they serve, but don't be fooled by me liking it, they still aren't that good. But Califonia Medeley is what saved the day. It is the best soup here. And it really is good. I left the dining hall feeling full and satisfied, which hasn't happened since the first few days of school. WOW.

I've developed a bad habit of taking the elevator to get to my floor. But I only do it when I'm on the first floor and the elevator is actually on the floor. If I have to wait, I just walk. But still, bad habit. I need to work out more.

This past weekend was pretty awesome. Friday night I went to Raj's dorm and we went to Illini Madness. It was me, him, Alex, Carrie, Jeremy, Ravi (visiting), Jordan (the chick that wants Raj), and a couple other guys from Raj's floor. It was really fun watching everything. The dance team sucked, the cheerleaders were surprisingly better. There was an Illini Entourage theme which included 4 men that apparently are Illini Basketball legends, and Jeremy Piven from Entourage. They judged the 3 point and dunking contest. The scrimage was weird because it was blue vs. orange, and no one knew who to cheer for. We left early to beat the crowd and to see the end of the Cardinals game. I've been going to Raj's alot to watch the Cardinals play. We watched X Men 3, Click, and Inside Man within 2 days.

Sarah was here visiting Tim so I went out to dinner with them at a Chinese place on Green. It was really good and we spent so much time there just telling stories and laughing soooo much. They are so cute together, its a shame they aren't dating. They're just on a break to figure out if they're meant for each other. We went to a haunted house after dinner. It took us forever to get there, we got lost so bad. The house wasn't that scary, they would pop up and scare you, and then just scream for a long time which got annoying. On the way back, we talked about how it was so much easier to get scared or be entertained and happy when we were little. And we shared stories of what games we made up when we were kids. We stopped at McDonalds and I got 2 pies, apple and pumpkin. They were so good!

Sunday I slept til noon and then did laundry. I went to Raj's for the Cardinals game, but they were losing so bad that we stopped watching. When I got home, I went and played pool with Brian and the guys. I played Sid, who is amazing, and I was holding my own for awhile, then he ran the table in one turn. It sucked! But it was still fun haha.

I'm fucking sick of dorm food. They were really good at tricking us into thinking the food wasn't that bad during the first few weeks. But it's just getting BAD. I'm going home this weekend and am looking forward to a home cooked meal! I already put in a request with Dave for a steak :) And a shower in my own bathroom...wow that will be nice!

I spent the entire day watching television yesterday. And it was nice. I went to my classes of course, and layed out in the quad while it was still nice, then came back to the dorm and watched...America's Next Top Model, One Tree Hill, and 4 episodes of the O.C. which I will be continueing tonight after Cirque du Soleil is over.

Okay, so the food sucks. But going to meals is pretty fun. I really like the people in PAR, just not the girls on my floor. I've met a lot of cool people with the help of Brian and of course my amazing pool skills. According to Max, "I've got potential" haha he's the funniest guy ever. It's only because he's from Jordan and has a thick accent, it makes everything hilarious. Anyone else saying "fucking shit" would just sound vulgar, but he's funny. And I've joined the "Pool Club" (similar to Fight Club) but haven't participated in the festivities yet :(

I finally like school 10000 times more than I did at first. WV people are such a false security blanket. I've hung out with a lot of people from WV, but it seems like the ones that I wasn't actually friends with in high school are the ones that I continue to see now.

Girls Sectionals is on Monday and I'm going to go watch my girls win! They rock this year so much that I kind of wish I was a year younger...but only to play one more year of golf.

I'm done for now.
